Ways of resolving resource overusage issues

All shared hosting packages have resource limits due to the virtualization we impose—resources include CPU and RAM.

If your account frequently approaches the resource limits, this indicates resource overuse, and you will see error messages or your website will operate more slowly.

So what are the limits of your account? As stated in the hosting package you chose. All packages have a configuration of 2 vCPUs and 2 GB of RAM (per website). The storage can be considered unlimited, but you must adhere to the following agreement: a single file cannot exceed 250MB, a single directory cannot exceed 100GB, and all your files should not be used for purposes like CDN or Backup. Video, Audio, and Picture files must serve the website hosted on GetHost.One.

Here are the steps to identify and resolve resource overuse issues. For Solo and Expert package users: We will periodically scan the system and notify you. Upon receiving this information, please act quickly to meet the conditions we have agreed upon. The notification process is as follows:

  • The first 3 times will inform you about the status of your account. At this point, you need to log in to address our reports.

  • The next 3 times will occur if you have not addressed the issue previously. At this point, you need to contact us via email to reset your account for resolution. If we do not receive any response from you, we will delete your account from the system. You will be marked as an abusive account and will not be able to register again; we also won’t accept any appeals from you.

For Agency package users: In addition to our periodic checks, if needed, you can request us to check for you if you're using the Agency package by emailing support@gethost.one. This is necessary because you will be responsible for the users under your agency. The notification process is as follows:

  • The first 3 times will inform you which accounts are violating policies. At this point, you need to contact your customers for resolution.

  • The next 3 times will occur if you do not address the issues. We will then suspend the user accounts under your agency.

  • The next 3 times will occur if you still do not take action. We will suspend your account, which will affect all users under your agency. If we do not receive any response from you, we will delete your account from the system. You will be marked as an abusive account and will not be able to register again; we also won’t accept any appeals from you or users under your agency.

During the operation of your website, if you reach the resource limits for a short time, this is normal. However, if the situation lasts longer than 10 minutes, we will suspend your website and notify you of its status. You need to thoroughly resolve the issue and then inform us via email so we can quickly reactivate your website.

If your issue goes beyond this agreement, please contact us via email: support@gethost.one.
